BAC-9 Bioaugmentation Tutorial
Bioremediation cultures are a low-cost way to optimize and increase microbial activity. For treatment of chlorinated solvents, cultures can be injected directly into the aquifer or applied to onsite bioreactors. BAC-9 is a microbial consortium of Dehalococcoides sp. enriched to degrade PCE and TCE completely to ethene.
This video demonstration is made available through EOS Remediation, LLC. For over a decade EOS Remediation has been the leading provider of in situ bioremediation products that reengineer the groundwater environment transforming contaminants into non-toxic end products. We offer a complete suite of bioremediation products including the original emulsified vegetable oil substrate; EOS® (emulsified oil substrate).
